Pietro "Peter" Magliocco, 83 of Binghamton, died Thursday June 20, 2013.

He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Thelma Cipriani Magliocco; his parents, Joseph and Angela Magliocco; two sisters, Teresa Magliocco and Anna Vona; son-in-law, Earl F. Gialanella, Jr.; sister-in-law, Nancy Griswold; brother-in-law, Anthony Cipriani.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, LouAnn and Rick Pray, Pt. Crane, Lisa and John Ricci, Conklin, Laurie Gialanella, Vestal; grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Pray, Caitlin Pray, Alyssa, Daniella, Gianna, John Ricci, Vincent Gialanella; brother-in-law, Arthur Griswold; sister-in-law, Rita Cipriani; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton.

Peter was a retired 43 years employee of the General Electric Corporation and a member of their Quarter Century Club.

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, member of the Sons of Italy Lodge 487 and a member of the Knights of Columbus Peter T. Campon Council #206.

Peter was dedicated to his family. He took pride in his work and in his creative inventions for improving everyday living.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.

The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Monday from 4-7 p.m.
