Denise Colleen Maharg, 59, of Lititz, passed away at her home on August 9, 2012. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Carl B. & Rena A. Laser Kline. She was married for 38 years to Patrick C. Maharg.
Denise was a graduate of Warwick High School, Reading Hospital School of Nursing, and Lebanon Valley College, and was a member of the Lititz United Methodist Church.
Prior to her retirement in 2011, she was employed as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She enjoyed doing crafts and scrapbooking.
Survivors include her husband Patrick C.; children, Shanyn M., wife of Gregory T. Fitzgerald, Fairfax,VA; Brendan P. Maharg, Vienna, VA; grandsons, Conor & Chase Fitzgerald; and brothers, Kenneth L., husband of Bernice Kline, Lititz; and Ronald N. Kline, Milford, DE.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 13th at 11:00 A.M. at the Richard H. Heisey Funeral Home, 216 S. Broad St., Lititz. Viewings will be held on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., and on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Hospice, 1503 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA 17042.
