Mr. Bradley Jay (Brad) Maier, 21, of Rocky Ford, CO passed away on Thursday, July 4th, 2013 at his home.

Brad was born in La Junta, CO on August 1, 1991, the son of William "Bill" and Stacey Lynn (Turner) Maier.

He graduated from Rocky Ford High School and from Garden City Community College.

He worked as a Auctioneer/Partner at Maier's Auction Barn Rocky Ford, CO. He was also a certified John Deere Mechanic.

He attended Valley Cowboy Church in La Junta, CO.

He was a volunteer for the Rocky Ford Fire Department.

He is survived by His parents, Bill & Stacey of Rocky Ford; Baby sister Morgan Maier of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandparents Jake & Dorothy Maier of Canon City, CO; Grandparents Don & Mary Lou Shultz of Westcliffe, CO; Great-Grandmother Leona Turner of Manzanola, CO; Great-Grandparents Jim & Elaine Bales of Rocky Ford, CO; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services will be at the Rocky Ford High School Football Field, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 12th, with Gail Allen officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Cremation will take place following the service. Memorials may be made to First National Bank c/o Brad Maier Scholarship Fund 401 Colorado, La Junta, CO 81050.
