Mrs. Anna M. Markunas, 90, died Sat., April 8, 1978 in Fountain Terrace nursing home after a long illness. Born March 27, 1888 in Lithuania, daughter of Mr and Mrs Jacob (
Barbara Raudonas) Budreskas. Lived 47 years in Rockford, coming here from Spring Valley. Married to Charles Markunas in Spring Valley in 1915. Formerly employed as seamstress by Stanhouse Mfg. 15 years. Member of Bible Students of America Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Mary Adams; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband in July 1955, and by a son, Albert, Oct 16, 1970.
