The Tallent family lived in St. Louis during the depression.
She married Tony William Markunas February 5, 1939 in St Louis, Missouri where they made their home. They later moved to Cedar Grove, to Houston and back to St, Louis. They returned to Houston, Missouri in 1957.
Pauline made hand-woven rugs and did machine quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992; one son, Anthony William Markunas; brothers James Wiseman, Mitchell Christopher, and Robert Earl, sisters: Pansy Vyleen and Clara Irene. Three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Helen Lafferty - Jerry, Stella Pauline Tuttle - Joey and Leora Elizabeth Reising - Mark; one sister, Ina Taylor; one brother, Elmer Tallent - Faye; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were February 18 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Sheldon Zook officiating. Burial in Dykes Cemetery.
