Vicki Gates
Vicki Lyn Gates, 32, a nurse's aide, died Saturday in a local hospital. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Croxford and Sons Rose Room. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
She was born in Muncie, Ind. She attended schools in Great Falls, England and New Jersey, and Montana State University in Bozeman for a year.
She married Jerry Gates Dec. 3, 1988, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Gates, a Power resident, worked at the Cascade County nursing home for a year before becoming a nurse's aide at Montana Deaconess Medical Center, a job she held for 11 years.
Survivors include her husband; parents, Laiten and Bernadean Marney of Great Falls; daughters, Stephanie and Amanda Gates of Power; a son, Phillip Gates of Power; brothers, William Marney of Choteau and Donald Marney of Great Falls; grandparents, Gilbert and Adeline Wells of Great Falls, Viola Patricelli of Casper, Wyo., Glen Marney of Rossville, Kan. She was preceded in death by a grandmother.
