Military Figure. Motor Machinist's Mate (Petty Officer) Second Class, U.S. Navy. Served aboard PT-109 (patrol torpedo boat) under Lieutenant (junior grade) John F. Kennedy. Was one of two crew members killed in action when PT-109 was sunk by Japanese destroyer.
