Barbara Jean Longmire Martin, 72, formerly of Decatur, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at her home.
She was a former member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Longmire; her parents, Nancy and Clifford Speegle; three brothers, Jim, Bobby and C.D. Speegle; and two sisters, Juanita Roberts and Ella Mae Silcox.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Gilbert and Cheryl Hutto, both of Decatur; one son, Steve Longmire, and his wife, Karen, of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Brandon and Gerald Hutto and Steven, Kimberly and Kristen Longmire; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Autumn and Jessie Hutto; and several nieces and nephews.
