A memorial service for Mary Virginia Haynes of Milwaukie will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of River View Cemetery.

Mrs. Haynes died of liver disease Sunday in a Milwaukie care center. She was 77.

She was born June 18, 1913, in Harrington, Wash. Her maiden name was Martin. After attending Central Washington College in Ellensburg, she moved to Portland. She married Gordon McCutcheon in 1940.

Mrs. Haynes had worked for the Bonneville Power Administration for many years until her retirement. After the death of her husband in the early 1950s, she married William Haynes in 1980.

Survivors besides her husband include her brother, George Martin of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Vivien Elmaleh and Janet Gadsby, of Portland; and three stepchildren.

Interment will be in River View Cemetery Mausoleum.
