Ella Mae Forshee, age 75 of Knoxville went to be with her Lord late Monday, December 31, 2012. Ella Mae was raised up at Byrd's Chapel Wesley Methodist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ella Mae had a huge heart of compassion and loved to cook for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rush Richard Martin and Gertrude Martin; sisters, Mary Lindsey and Katy Gibson and brother, Junior Martin. Ella Mae is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Charles (Charlie/C.L.) Forshee; daughter, Karen Marlene Forshee Arnold and husband, Bobby; sons, Terry Ray Forshee (Sharon) and Charles Richard (Ricky) Forshee; grandchildren, Michael Forshee (Julie), Jeremiah Forshee (Kalie) and Amanda Forshee; great-grandchildren, Isabella Forshee, Parker Forshee and McKinsey Forshee Babb; brother, Howard Martin; sisters, Helen Flanagan, Betty McCown, Margaret Newcomb, Katherine Martin and Alice Copeland (Brownie); sisters-in-law, Trula, Evelyn, Iva Jean, Sharon, Sally and Helen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5 to 6:45 p.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Gary Lowe officiating.
