Earline Martin Lowe, age 87 of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday morning, May 1, 2011 at Parkwest Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Lowe attended Beaumont Avenue Baptist Church and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

She was the Past Worthy Matron and Past Grand Representative of the Order of the Eastern Star, Arema Lodge No. 466. She and her late husband owned and operated School Buses in the Karns community for many years and enjoyed the generations of children they were able to carry to and from school. Earline possessed both a love and talent for making apple stack cakes, apple pies and crocheting and entered her treasures in the TVA&I Fair where she held the Blue Ribbon for more than seventeen years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford L. (C.L.) Lowe and her mother and father.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Debbie Lowe of Powell; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Bill Cloud of Powell; grandchildren, Beth and Travis Collins, Wayne and Farrah Lowe, Jessica and Tim Missey, Jaclyn and Mat Howell and Jennifer Cloud; great- grandchildren, Blake and Slade, Caleb and Sydney, Zoe and Emelyn and expecting two more; sister, Lorene Rodgers of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Reverend Ron Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
