Mary Jane (Martin) Blakely was born at Fort Ann, NY 6 Oct 1833, moving to Detroit, Michigan at the age of 7 years. She married Daniel Blakely 23 Feb 1853 and they became the parents of 7 boys and 1 girl, only 2 of whom survived her: William Franklin "Frank" of Stayton and Joseph E of Central Lake, Michigan. Her husband died 30 Nov 1908, since which time she had made her home with her son Frank. (From her obituary with some edits)
