Rosina (Rose) Hagan an 84-year resident of Redondo Beach passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 peacefully in her sleep in Torrance. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Rose was 84 when she died. Rose was a member of St. James Catholic Church, enjoyed playing piano, writing stories, painting and poetry. She was a beloved mother, sister and friend to many. Rosa is survived by son, Michael Modica of Lakewood, CA; sister, Katherine Steele of Riverside, CA; friend, Wiliam Minaya of Redondo Beach, CA; friend, Tiger Watson of Redondo Beach, CA; friend, Amber Delelio of Redondo Beach, CA; and many more. She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas B. Hagan and parents, Frances and Paul Masi. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Monday, November 15, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The service will be at St. James Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
