Esther Gunnell Mason, 74, died November 15, 2000. She was a retired kindergarten teacher who taught at the Little Red School, Colonial Heights Baptist Kindergarten, and Raymond Baptist Kindergarten.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Sam Mason; a son, Sam Mason III of Jackson; a daughter, Janice A. Mason of Pelham, AL; two sisters, Marie Brabe of Venice, FL, and Nickle Rials of Jayess; and 2 grandchildren.
Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with burial at Raymond Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home.
