Mrs. Mary Jane Baier, 74, wife of John Leonard Baier, died yesterday in this city. Death was caused by a heart condition. Mrs. Baier had been ill three weeks.
Born in Carmen Town, she had been a resident of the resort for 62 years. She was one of the founders of St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church 54 years ago and has been a member ever since. She came to Atlantic City from Mays Landing. Mrs. Baier resided at 22 S. South Carolina av.
She is survived by her husband, by three sons, John Leonard Jr., of this city; Clarence, of Springfield, Mass., and Emerson, of Ventnor, and a daughter, Miss Estella Baier, also of this city. Ten grandchildren also survive her.
