Dennis Wilson Massay, 73, of Sanger, passed away on January 27, 2009 at his home. He was born March 1, 1935 in Sanger to Howard C. and Era Mae (Brewer) Massey. He is a member of the Bolivar Baptist Church and a retired laborer. He attended public schools.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2009, at the Sanger Cemetery, with the Rev. Dickie Amyx officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St. in Denton, on Thursday, January 29, 2009, for visitation from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Massay is survived by his wife, Betty Massay of Sanger; daughter, Betty Denise Crabb of Sanger; sons, Charles Eugene Massay of Denton and Darell Glen Massay of Quitman; sister, Frances Foster of Irving; brothers, Charles Habern of New Braunfels and Jimmy Habern of Dallas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
