Virginia M. Bahan 1939 - 2011 BENNINGTON, VT Virginia Mary Bahan, 72, a resident of Overton Ave. in Kansas City, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Mount Morris, N.Y., Aug. 2, 1939, daughter of the late Dominick and Esther (Dianna) Massi. Virginia received her education in Hornell, N.Y., and was a graduate of Hornell High School. She married Robert L. Bahan on June 27, 1971, at the First Baptist Church in Bennington. While living in Bennington, Mrs. Bahan was employed at the Thompson Manufacturing Company and C.B. Sports She enjoyed camping, hiking and traveling. She was an accomplished seamstress. Virginia also enjoyed crocheting and making afghan's. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Bahan of Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Allan Lorom and his wife, Wendy, of Iowa City, Iowa; her stepchildren, Robert L. Bahan II and his wife, Holly, of Shaftsbury, Nan Peters and her husband, Larry, of Bennington and Brent Bahan of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held on Wednesday Oct. 26, 2011, at 1 p.m. at White Chapel Cemetery in Bennington with the Rev. Jerrod Hugenot of the First Baptist Church officiating.
