Mrs. Bessie Masters Castle, 65, of Decatur, died today in St. Mary's Hospital following an illness of six months. Mrs. Castle came to Decatur in 1925 from Bardstown, Ky., and was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was born Nov. 17, 1889 in Willisburg, Ky., a daughter of John and Bessie Ann Perkins. She was married to Joseph Castle about 10 years ago. He preceded her in death.
She leaves two children by her first marriage, Mrs. Wayne Six and Wayne Masters of Decatur. There is one grandchild and three brothers, Richard, Rastus and Omer Jenkins, all of Kentucky.
