Mrs. Deffenbaugh died at the Lewis Memorial Christian Village on 3-31-2012 at Springfield, Illinois.
She is the daughter of Mr. Roy R. & Mrs. Anna {McDonough} Mathis of Peoria, Illinois, and she is a 1939 graduate of Peoria H.S., and attended Bradley University in Peoria. She was the youngest of seven children.
At one time she taught cosmetology at Peoria High, and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois. She left Peoria, and moved to Springfield, Illinois in 1960.
