Jeanette Irene "Jean" Mathias Ellis
NEW HAVEN, Ind. - Jeanette "Jean" I. (Mathias) Ellis, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne.
Born March 17, 1927, in Aberdeen, S.D., she resided most of her life in Mason City, Iowa. She graduated from Northern Iowa Community College in 1967 and was an R.N. in Minnesota and Iowa until retiring to New Haven, Ind.
Surviving are sons, Robert Mathias of Hoagland and Jan Mathias of New Haven; sister, "Trish" Williams of Idaho; brother, John Fjone of Iowa; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Danielle Rae; mother, Lucricia "Lucky" Ward; sister, Betty Fjone; niece, Dixie Olinger; and husband, John Ellis.
