Lily Kahele Mathias Aiwohi Chai, 91, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on April 30, 2013, at her home under Hospice care. She was born on July 30, 1921, in Honokohau, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Kahului Ward; service will begin at 6:30 p.m.; burial will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.
Lily retired with the Department of Transportation. She is survived by her sons, Darryl (Vickie) Aiwohi, Nathan (Laurie) Aiwohi, Ricky (Susan) Aiwohi, Casey (Diane) Aiwohi, Gary (Heidi) Aiwohi, Jared (Linda) Aiwohi; daughters, Sandra (Paul) Aiwohi Romias, Valerie (Robbie) Aiwohi Dukelow, Puanani (Peter) Aiwohi Lemick; brothers, Edward Mathias, Ernest Mathias, Jordan Mathias; sisters, Rose Mathias Yoshizawa, Elizabeth Mathias Gonsalves, Dorothy Mathias Awai; 44 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
