She was born in County Cavan, Ireland, daughter of the late Andrew and Rose (Coyle) Matthews and lived here for 60 years. She was educated in schools in Ireland, and was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church, and also a member of the Rosary and Scapular Society of the Church, and also a member of the Degree of Honor Society. In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, John H. Brady and a daughter, Miss Ruth M. Brady, both of Taunton and four grandchildren.
