Alice Louise Ayres, 94, passed away on December 14, 2021.

She was born June 9, 1927 in Mechanic Falls, ME to Howard Francis Maxim and Katharine Saunders Chadbourne. She attended Mechanic Falls High School, Mechanic Falls, Maine and Providence Bible College, Providence, Rhode Island. Alice was a Child Evangelist and Housewife. She was a member of Mechanic Falls High School – Band, Orchestra, Music Club, Dramatic Club, Archery Club, Honor Essay, 4 – H Club, and was a Sunday School Teacher.

Hobbies included playing the piano at church and knitting for orphans in Romania.

She attended Skyway Community Church (Florida) and Bethany Assembly of God (Michigan). Alice was selfless, creative, loyal, humorous, kind, wise, and gentle.

Alice was preceded in death by her father, Howard Francis Maxim, mother, , husband, William David Ayres, granddaughter, Deborah Rene Juillerat and siblings, Earl Leslie Maxim, Winnifred Grace Maxim, Walter Ellsworth Maxim, Nettie Maxim, Ruth Anna Maxim, James Arthur Maxim, and Helena Frances Maxim. Survivors include her children, Patricia Foiles (Neil), William Ayres (Deborah), Daniel Ayres, and Donna Juillerat; brother, William Maxim; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
