WILTON - Mrs. Lula E. Dimond, 71, a resident for 53 years of Wilton, died at her home on Weld Street, Saturday morning, after an illness of two years. Her husband, Frank Martin Dimond, died three years ago on Aug. 17.
She was born at Leeds, Dec. 30, 1896, the daughter of Roland M. and Sadie Burnham Maxim. She lived in North Monmouth before coming to Wilton. She was married on March 28, 1914, at Lewiston, to Frank Dimond.
Surviving are four children, Miss Violet Dimond, Mrs. Frances Bubier, Frank Jr., and Miss Sadie Dimond, all of Wilton; four grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Heckbert, Wilton; Mrs. Bertha Dill, East Dixfield, Mrs. Dorothy Hill, Lewiston; and a brother, R. Almont Maxim, Lewiston.
DIED - At Wilton August 17,1968, Mrs. Lula E. Dimond. Funeral services will be held from the Edwards Funeral Home, Wilton, Tuesday at 2:30pm. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
