MAYFIELD, Otto Wayne

Otto Wayne Mayfield, 64, of Rt. 10, Pleasant Hill, died Thursday at the home.

He was born April 27, 1908, at Masontown, a son of the late Ottie M. and Tillie Arnold Mayfield. He was a poultry and vegetable farmer, a member of the Albright Baptist Church, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the West Virginia Muzzle Loaders Association.

He is survived by his wife, Lela B. Harner Mayfield; two sons, Larry A. of Parsons and Hugh C. of Terra Alta; three daughters, Mrs. Otis (Joyce) Fansler of Morgantown, Miss Sharon Mayfield at home, and Mrs. Howard (Carolyn) Longhouse of Freeville, N.Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Garner of Kingwood, Mrs. Mabel Harner and Mrs. Elizabeth Scavariello of Morgantown, and Mrs. Edna White of Morgantown; also 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Dering's Funeral Home Friday 7 to 9; Saturday 10 to 12, 3 to 5, and 7 to 9; Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the hour of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
