Doty, Blanche Virginia, 93, of Paden City, WV died Friday, January 03, 2014 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.
Blanche was born August 6, 1920 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Guy and Goldie Fagert Mayfield.
She was a homemaker, devoted charter member of the Paden City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary with forty-nine years of service, an awesome cook and a Methodist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert A. "Chris" Doty; brothers, Charles Mayfield, Ronald Mayfield and Donald Mayfield and a grandson, Mark Doty.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (Sandy) Doty and Kevin (Jean Ann) Doty both of Paden City, WV; brother, Ray Mayfield of Paden City, WV; granddaughter, Meghann (Mike) Ferrell; granddaughter-in-law, Nikki Doty; two great grandchildren Amaya and Solomon Ferrell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City where service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 with Darrel Veyon officiating.
Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens.
Paden City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will conduct an Auxiliary service at 6 p.m.
