Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, for John C. Mayfield, 78, of Tulsa, Okla., who died Tuesday morning in Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be today in Tulsa.
He was born in West Virginia and graduated from Tyler County High School in Middlebourne, from Marietta College, and was retired from Dow Chemical Co.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Bailey Mayfield; two sisters-in-law here, Mrs. Albert Goble of Williamstown and Mrs. John Bailey, Sr., of Vienna; three cousins, Mary and Elizabeth Leonard, both of Williamstown, and Arthur Leonard of Parkersburg.
Cawley Funeral Home, Marietta is in charge of local arrangements.
