Mayfield-Beam
Services were held Friday, March 28, 2008 at 10:00 am at Rose Chapel in Sayre for Sharon Beth Mayfield Beam.
Sharon was born January 5, 1968 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Betty Lou and Jim O'Neal Mayfield. She passed away March 24, 2008 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years, two months and 19 days.
Sharon attended Sayre Schools where she was a cheer leader and was on the honor roll. She was married to Elzie Leon Beam at Sayre, Oklahoma in 1984 and they continued to live in Sayre to make their home. Sharon had worked at Hensley Nursing Home for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and one sister, Betty Jean Blackshear.
She is survived by her daughter, Chawncey Beam, of the home; two sons, Nick Beam and wife, Krystale, Foss, OK, Cory Beam and wife, Amanda, Schofield, Hawaii; father, Jim Mayfield, Sayre, OK; one sister, Mary Lou Ann Sands, Sayre, OK; four brothers, Jim O'Neal Mayfield, Jr., Ranger, TX, Timothy O'Dell Mayfield, Sayre, OK, Walter O'Jay Mayfield, Sayre, OK, Jimmie O'Brian Mayfield, Sayre, OK; grandmother, Eller Marie Simmons, Amarillo, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The service was officiated by Roy Wilburn. Burial was held at the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
