Mildred M. Bessler, 81, of Lutheran Home died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1995 at the home.
Born Aug. 19, 1914, to Ira W. and Effie Ellen Maynor, she married Oliver W. "Bud" Bessler Aug. 31, 1941, in Bloomington. He died Nov. 9, 1959, in Gridley. Two brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three nieces, Pam Connor and Linda Strate, both of Decatur and Mary Valentine of Evanston; one nephew, Jay D. Maynor Jr. of Chicago; and one cousin, Ruth Keyes of Peoria.
She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star and a 50-year member of the YWCA.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
