Mrs Tom Maynor Dies Suddenly
The people of Oneonta were shocked Wednesday morning when the news was flashed over the town that Mrs. Alice Maynor, the beloved wife of T. A. Maynor had died very suddenly at their home in Oneonta. Mrs Maynor had been in ill health for a long time but was able to be up, and when Mr. Maynor left her to go out on his mail route she appeared to be as well as usual. He had not gone far when a message halted him with the news of her death. The deceased was about 35 years of age and was a good christian woman. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by her husband, three children, three brothers and three sisters. At the time of going to press the funeral arrangements have not been made.

Mrs. Alice Maynor, wife of our townsman, Mr. T.A. Maynor, died suddenly at their home here Wednesday morning. Mr. Maynor who is the R.F.D. Carrier on Route 1, had gone on his mail route, when she took suddenly ill, dying in a few minutes. He was overtaken and the news broken to him. Mrs. Maynor had been a great sufferer for a long time, but seemed to bear it patiently. Her husband was faithful to her and did all in his power to restore her to health. The deceaed was about 35 years of agee and was a devout Christian, being a member of the Presbyterian Church for many years. A devoted husband, three children, three brothers and three sisters survive her. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire town in their time of sorrow.
