Passed away October 6, 2004. She was preceded in death by husband, Leonard Stanley Castleman. Survived by daughter, Linda Lorraine Castleman; nieces, Mrs. Milton (Marie) Wright and Mrs. Herman (Betty June) Redding; brother-in-law, Albert T. Castleman of Virginia Beach, VA; several nieces and nephews. Brooksie will be dearly missed by family and friends. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and her love to everyone around her. She was born August 16, 1904. A former Castner Knott employee from 1920-1937. Later employed by the State of Tennessee for 20 years. A member of Hillsboro Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. in Woodlawn's Chapel of Roses with Marlin Connolly officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers are David Sciortino, Paul Nance, Ron Swang, Steve Temple, Lionel Lillicrop, Mike Hinson, Ernie Smith and Norman Fox. Visitation with the family will be Thursday 1-4 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home
