PATRICIA A BURKHOLDER
BERRYVILLE, Va.-Patricia A. (McGann) Burkholder, 54, of Berryville, formerly of Oakland, Md., and Cumberland, Md., died Monday, March 8, 1999, at her home.
Born April 26, 1944, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Francis McGann and Loretta M. (Beckman) Deter.
Mrs. Burkholder was a certified nurse's assistant for Blue Ridge Hospice, Winchester. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Berryville, the church choir, and the Cancer Support Group of Garrett County, Md.
Surviving are her husband, Jim G. Burkholder; four daughters, Laura Harrison Livingston and husband, Michael, Cumberland, Mary Harrison Mellott, Oakland, LaDeana Burkholder Anderson and husband, Michael, Fredericksburg, Va., and DeeAnna L. Burkholder, Berlin, Pa.; one sister, Cathy Pannone and husband, Mike, Cumberland; one brother, Michael McGann and wife, Beverly, Mount Savage, Md.; three grandchildren, Emily and Cole Livingston, and Nicole Anderson.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dwight Brown officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cumberland.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, Berryville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
