Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Caroline McGann as well as her siblings Joseph, Lucille,

Donald, Caroline and Thomas, her husband, John Cllerven and her son, Joseph Cherven.

Survived by her remaining children, Nancy (Reuben) Flatt, John (Kathy) Cherven, James (Arlyne) Cherven, Thomas (Rita) Cherven, Judith (Daniel) Hopkins and Patrick Cherven. She has a multitude of beloved grandchildren and great-grand-children. She was an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She retired in 1983 after 28 years as Head Nurse in the newborn nursery of Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center.

In her retirement she volunteered with Easter Seals and Senior Services Center. She was a bowler and loved to travel but most of all, she supported her Chicago Cubs. She has been a resident of the Alzheimers Unit at Deerbrook Care Centre for the last four years where she has experienced loving and attentive care from some of the most wonderful people ever. From where Funeral Services will be Thursday at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Magdalene Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Cyril and Methodius Church. Visitation Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM.
