Mrs. Elizabeth McGauley, widow of Richard McGauley, died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home, 207 East Sixth street. She was taken seriously ill Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father E.J. Houlihan in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. McGauley was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, and came to Muncie thirty-three years ago. Mr. McGauley died nine years ago.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Dennis Cleary, Mrs. Harry Nicholson, and Miss Isabelle Brady, of Muncie, and Mrs. C.H. Tipton of Columbus, Ohio; and three brothers, John Brady of Steubenville, Ohio, William Brady of Charleroi, Pa., and Robert Brady of Muncie. A nephew, Frank Pinkerton, made his home with Mrs. McGauley.
The body will be taken to the home from the Meeks mortuary at noon today.
