Mrs. Catherine Morris McGinn, widow of the late James McGinn, who died in 1893, died at her home four miles northeast of this city last Tuesday evening. The deceased was a daughter of the late James Morris, and was born in Cavan county, Ireland, Feb. 1, 1832. She came with her parents to Wiota in this county in 1853 and was married to James McGinn in 1855.
She leaves surviving her three sons and three daugthers.
The funeral was held this morning from St. Matthew's church in this city. The remains were interred in the cemetery adjoining the Catholic church in this city.
