She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Jones; son, Earnest W. Jones and daughter, Connie J. Whitt. Mrs. Jones was the Cafeteria Manager at McHarg Elementary School.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Radford.
Surviving is two grandson, Calvin Curtis Whitt II and his wife, Candy S. Whitt of Dublin and Craig Wilson Whitt of Radford; great-granddaughter, Brittani Furrow of Dublin; three sisters, Mrs. Jean Smoot of Radford, Mrs. Mammie Jenson of Bedford and Mrs. Eleanor Phillips of Clarkesburg, W.Va.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 29, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Central United Methodist Church in Radford, with the Rev. Joe S. Green officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Burial Park, Radford. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
