Elizabeth "Beth" Becker, 84, passed away March 15, 2012 at home. She was born in Hayden, AZ on May 1, 1927 to Nathan and Sarrah "Jenny" McGovern. She attended ASU where she met her husband of 63 years, Earl C.E. Becker.

Beth loved children and taught primary school for 27 years. She was active in the Lioness Club and an extremely talented and creative needle worker and seamstress. Beth was an inspiration to all who came into contact with her. She was truly an amazing woman with a profound faith in God. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband Earl C.E., daughter, Catherine Craig (Jim), son, Earl J., 4 grandchildren, Lara Rockwell (Nick), Michael Becker, David Becker, Earl Patrick Becker, and 2 great grandchildren Brooklinn and Rebecca.

Visitation will be at Meldrum Mortuary, 3/18/2012 from 1:00pm-3:00pm. A celebration of life service will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 142 N. Date, Mesa, AZ on 3/24/2012 at 10:30am with continued celebration of her life to follow.
