Virginia Lorraine McGovern Lynch, resident of Danville, formerly of Millbrae, died peacefully on August 2, 2010. She was born in South San Francisco on March 10, 1920 to Dr. J.C. McGovern and Lillian Edna Hatch. She married Joseph C. Lynch on January 26, 1946 and they later moved to Millbrae. Virginia enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and travelling. Most important to her were her close relationships with family and friends. A memorial service was held on August 6, 2010 at Sky Lawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Joe and her son, Tim. She is survived by her daughter Terry Totten and her son-in-law Robert as well as her grandsons, Joe and Mark. Virginia also dearly loved her niece, Jean Sullivan and her dear friend, Pam Leggero.
