Madeline was the last child born to Francis and Catherine McAdams McGovern. She was born and raised and married in Dorchester. On the 12th of February 1955 she married Arthur Borey, a widower, with three children in Saint Peter's RC Church in Dorchester, Mass. This union would last for 22 years until her untimely death in 1977. Madeline died of cancer at the age of sixty-one. She was a talented hairdresser, loving mother and aunt. She is greatly missed and much loved.
