BUTLER, Mrs. Nina McNair, 81, 1300 Tillison Road, died at a local hospital Friday 8 a.m., after a brief illness.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Edith B. Gibbs, Gadsden, Mrs. Kate B. Thompson, Piedmont, brothers, David J. McNair, Memphis, Tenn., Leroy McNair, Altoona, Arthur McNair, Attalla; sister, Mrs. Verar Hurst, Altoona; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday 1:30 p.m. Collier-Butler Chapel, with the Rev. Milas Anders officiating.
Burial Forrest Cemetery.
Active pallbearers: Jady Sanford, Samuel Moorer, John E. Isbell, Bernice Johnson, W.G. Johnson, Willis Clark.
Mrs. Butler was a native of St. Clair County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life. She was the wife of the late King Solomon Butler and was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church.
The body will remain at Collier-Butler Parlors through the hour of service.
