Mura "Dotty" Bailey, 88, of Paintsvile died Monday, May 5, 2003 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born October 29, 1914, in Johnson County. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Lula Butler Meade.
She was a retired bank teller with Citizens National Bank and a member of United Methodist Women and Mother Singers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred "Colonel" Bailey.
Survivors include a son, Rick Bailey of Lexington; a daughter, Susan Lykins of Houston, Texas; a sister, Betty Burchett of Staffordsville; and a grandchild.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 7, at First United Methodist Church with Revs. Terry Heffett and Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial was in Mayo Memorial Cemetery, Paintsville, under the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
