Emily R. Auchenbach Dies in Nesbitt
Mrs. Emily R. Auchenbach formerly of 13 Catlin Avenue Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday al 9:30 p. m. in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the afternoon.
The former Emily Meade, Mrs. Auchenbach was born in Wilkes-Barre and had resided in Rolling Mill Hill and South Wilkes-Barre most of her life. Following her marriage to William Auchenbach, Mrs. Auchenbach resided in the Philadelphia area and had been employed as a buyer by several Philadelphia area specialty shops. She returned to Wilkes-Barre during the illness of her mother, Mrs. Martha A. Meade, who died on June 18, 1973. She had attended the Bethel Welsh Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre. Mr. Auchenbach died in September, 1973.
Funeral will be held from the H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home, 451 North Main St., Friday at 11 with Rev. Milo D. Singer, pastor of Parsons Welsh Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
