Born Jan. 29, 1949, in the former Mercer Cottage Hospital, Mr. Meade was a son of Howard V. "Hud" Meade and Betty I. Burns Meade.
He was a graduate of Mercer High School.
Mr. Meade always worked locally in nursing homes, caring for others as an aide.
David always had a strong belief in his faith and Christianity and was a member of Solid Rock Assembly of God, Grove City.
He leaves behind a sister, Bonita L. Staples and her husband Victor, Stoneboro; a brother, James M. Meade and his wife Pat, Cleveland; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
