Born in Philadelphia, he was the business owner of NU-Way Rubbish Removal.
Mr. Meade served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was son of the late Harry E. Meade and Jane Johnson Meade.
Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth "Dottie" Dietrich Meade; daughters, Sharon, Virginia, Jennie, Kristen; brother, David Meade.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall.
Visitation: After 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Upper Darby.
