Effa Marie Meade Gregory, 86, of Hunlock Creek passed away Sept. 22, 2016, at Orangeville Nursing Center.
She was born in Sweet Valley on July 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Delbert Meade and Dorthea Myers Meade.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ralph R. Gregory; brother, Sterling Meade, and sister, Delberta Brink.
Surviving are her daughters: Donna Andrews and husband Bob; Nancy Rowe and husband Austin; grandchildren: Lisa Lindner and husband Mike; Greg Andrews and wife Michelle; Cory Andrews and wife Alisa; and Tracie Schuckers; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers: Dr. Kenneth Meade and wife Janette; Richard Meade and wife Maryann; one sister-in-law, Betty Lamoreaux, and several nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service was held to celebrate her “home-going”.
