Mrs. Carrie Meitner
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie L. Meitner, 93, of 610 Broadway, will be conducted by the Rev. Edwin H. Felter, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, at 1:30 p.m Wednesday in Chapel of Memories East. A graveside dedication in Fairview Cemetery will be conducted by Morman Elder Barry Ross.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Meitner died of complications of age at 11:05 p.m. Sunday in St. Francis Hospital.
She was born in Henry County on Oct. 6, 1875, to Arthur and Laura Walker Munyan and had spent most of her life in the Waterloo area. She was married here to Fred Meitner on Nov. 11, 1912, and was employed as a practical nurse and milliner.
Mrs. Meitner was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters.
