Dorrys E. Anderson, 83, formerly of Keokuk, died Friday September 20, 2002, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She was born the daughter of Harry and Clara Merrick. She married Raymond Anderson of Keokuk in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She is survived by her son, John Anderson, and three grandchildren.
She was also precded in death by three siblings; Ivan, Ruth, David and Jack.
She worked for the Western Union in Keokuk and Kansas City during World War II. Mrs. Anderson and her husband moved to Minneapolis, retired to Phoenix in 1980, and moved to Santa Fe in 1991.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, October 18, at Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa, with Pastor Don Rothweiler officiating.
