GENEVA JANET MERSHON BALL, 90, formerly of South Webster, went to be with our Lord and Savior in Glory on Sunday May 17, 2015, at the Elmwood Health Care Center in Green Springs, Ohio.

She was born September 4, 1924, in Portsmouth, Ohio, She was the oldest of 13 children and a daughter of the late Shirley Edward Mershon and Helena Swords. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Hester Ball Flowers and was a member of the Frederick Freewill Baptist Church

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Ball and one daughter, Carol Ball Smith

She is survived by three children, Lee Ball; Karen Evans; and Donna Potts; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-greatchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the Frederick Freewill Baptist Church and interment in South Webster Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME in South Webster and one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church.
