Elizabeth Lindahl, 87, Lincoln, passed away on August 23, 2015. Born March 30, 1928, in Central City, the daughter of Raymond and Erma Mesner.
Elizabeth married Louis Carl Lindahl on March 24, 1951. She was a member of St Luke's Methodist Church.
Elizabeth attended Earlham College, Richmond, Indiana, and taught school in Central City, Elk Creek, and Chapman, Nebraska. She was also church secretary in LaGrange, Illinois, and assisted Lou with World Book career.
Survived by: children and their spouses, Barbara Jolly, Louis Timothy Lindahl, Alan and Elizabeth Lindahl, Kristi and Mike Flint, John and Jama Lindahl, and Daniel Lindahl and Cathy Barry; siblings Phil Mesner, Neil Mesner, Helen Casper, William Mesner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patti Lindahl; son, Joseph Lindahl; brothers, Dale and Warren Mesner.
Memorial Service September 12, 2015 at St Luke's Church, Lincoln. Elizabeth’s wishes were for cremation. Inurnment on Monday, September 14, 2015 in the Hordville Cemetery.
