Chariton, Betty Ann (Nee Miller) Passed away peacefully on August 17, 2010, at the age of 79 years. Wife of the late Bernard Sr. "Rockie". Loving mom of Bernard Jr. (Tina). Proud grandmother of Timothy (Beth), Christine, Anthony, Carolyn (Matt) Vandre and Cathleen (Jason). Great-grandmother of Alex, Owen, Aaron, Ethan, Isaac, Joshua, Olivia and Donovan. Dear sister of Sarah Read and Jimmy Miller. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Service Friday 6 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel. Memorial visitation Friday 4-6 PM at the funeral home. Private entombment Arlington Park Cemetery. Betty's life work was caring for others. She worked at the Milwaukee Sanitarium over 5 years and served on the staff of Villa Clement, now West Allis Care Center, over 20 years. She cared for her beloved husband "Rockie" until his death in 1992. And of course, her love was shed on her grandchildren and her many pets, which were her joy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society if so desired.
